Guest Spot: Yolanda Sfetsos & Faith Healer Trilogy

What's a happy ending, anyway?

There are some stories that you know from the very beginning can't end as happily as you'd like them to. No matter what your intentions were, there are just some lovers whose story is riddled with heartache and tribulations they might continue to deal with, but never really overcome. It's not that they weren't meant to be together, because they were, but external forces sometimes can't be stopped. Especially if you fall for a woman who willingly bound a demon to herself after a huge misunderstanding.

That's what happens to Ross Garcia. He never has it easy in the Alyce Kerr, Faith Healer Trilogy. He's fallen for a woman who doesn't think rationally when she's upset. A woman who rushes decisions when faced with difficult choices. A woman who should've done a little more research before taking part in a ritual that would change her life forever.

It's no wonder that Ross is concerned, wondering what'll happen now that he willingly took Alyce's place inside the demonologist's pentagram, and is sharing it with the demon Alyce conjured. The same demon who wants her back, and is willing to do whatever it takes to worm his way back into her body.

It's not all bad news, though. The story arc of Buer's connection (and obsession) with Alyce comes to an end in Boundless. Yet, because I love to torture my characters, I made sure that Alyce and Ross suffered a few more devastating blows before the trilogy was done. Things that could tear a normal couple apart. But then, they don't have a normal relationship. How can you in a world where demons exist and some humans not only know about it, but try to use them for self-gain?

But don't worry, by the time you get to the end of the trilogy, you'll realise that Alyce and Ross are strong enough to find some sort of happily ever after. Or at least, a happy for now.

Thanks for reading!

Boundless: Book 3 of the Alyce Kerr, Faith Healer TrilogyAlyce remains estranged from her celebrity status as a Faith Healer and is holed up inside a motel room with the mysterious Sebastian. Her soul might no longer belong to Buer, but the fight is far from over. The price for her freedom was devastating.

Ross made a deal with a demonologist in order to save Alyce, and is now at the mercy of the crazy woman and the demon Buer. There is no escape from the basement in which the three are trapped in, and he has to bear the torture.

When Sebastian finds a way to save Ross, Alyce must engage in an ancient, carnal ritual that complicates her life further. But for Ross, sheís willing to put both her heart and soul on the lineÖ even if it means losing him.
